Brilliant ruby red, it expresses notes of black cherry, red flowers and pleasant hints of sweet spices on the nose. The taste is fresh and easy to drink, pulpy with a persistent finish, long fruity aftertaste.

Production area: Carovigno∙Brindisi∙Italy.
Soil type: Tufaceous-calcareous.
Density of vines: 4500 plants/ha.
Production per hectare: 80 quintals.
Harvest: Manually in boxes.
Harvest period: Second ten days of September.
Yield of grapes in wine: 50% free-run must.
Maceration with the skins: 20 days.
Vinification: Fermentation at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts.
Aging: In French oak barrels for 9 months and subsequent aging in the bottle for 6 months before marketing.
