Brilliant powder-colored shade with coppery nuances. Refined, pinpoint perlage, with copious and persistent bubbles. According to the classic method, the base wine is refermented in the bottle for approximately 40 days; these are followed by a period of refinement on the lees of 100 months. The nose is balanced between the fragrance and expressive strength of Aglianico, with beautiful flavors of dog rose and peach, pomegranate seeds and currants, then a touch of rock salt and almond. Properly balanced body with perfect fresh-savory edge, responsive fruity tones that are enriched by the long persistence of notes of peony and pink grapefruit.
